What Is It?

Remedial taping and strapping involves the support of injured joints, bones and muscles using adhesive zinc oxide tape and support mesh.  The tape is placed to support and move tissues into positions which will allow the body to heal properly or prevent further injuries.

What Does It Involve?

Injuries should have been diagnosed by a suitable health professional and in most cases, to have passed the acute inflammatory stage of healing (usually 72 hours post injury).

We will then use a combination of tapes to position and support the tissues of the injured area in a manner which will aid recovery and prevent recurrence. 

NB - some reaction may occur with the tape.  If you have had previous reaction to plasters or adhesive, please advise us.  Should any reactions or changes in sensation occur, please contact us immediately for advice.
